that flowing gown falls to the floor
those eyes that won't cty anymore
the things she thought would never die
have drifted on and passed her by
lies silently as cold as ice
in a world that forgot to be nice
a world she made inside her head
one where she didn't want to be dead
all she thought was why oh why?
why has the world just passed me by?
the raindrops fall unseen to her
for she lies dead apon the floor
the years and months she sent alone
have finally driven her from her throne
no tears were wept on her death bed
for she died years ago, the day her lover did

i'll live a lie until i die or until you work out why
