How do I know if life is wasting away, and
I'm just falling ~ into another day?
Some people let this pass by, but
Others ~ live to die.

When will I see peace bloom,
When will I see this "blue moon?"
When will hate stop growing?
These feelings ~ I'm not showing

Pretending to be something really great
Crossed over ~ 2 seconds to late
My heart crashed down, isn't this nice
Got to get ~ a new slice of life

I don't wanna be someone that was pushed aside
Gone away ~ away from time
Words can be a slap in the face
My opinions don't exist ~ in this place

nice rhyming. Interesting, not dark, but thoughtful.
