*this isn't what i call poetry... it's just a rambling... but it's not prose.. so here it is... hehe. enjoy i guess.* what's with today today? people get lost. i thought i knew what i was doing Did you ever wonder why everyone makes mistakes, but only a few ever get forgiveness? people fall down. Is it really resiliancy that defines human nature? 'cause i see a lot of people on their backs... or digging deeper It's almost like the dirt under my nails will never come out. maybe it shouldn't. people get hurt. the tears don't come so easily anymore i don't think they've come at all these past couple of years. Does that make me less of a person? Am i disconnected? maybe. but you will never make me cry. people need people. i used to think it wasn't true. Casual observer, faceless participant, just keeping score... i'm not a talk-about-my-problems kind of guy. but you can't keep the cork in the bottle forever people still dream. this life is only possibilities. lost, fallen, forsaken, and needing somehow i'm still dreaming. it's all happening. i'm just trying to hang on people die. i've got mixed feelings about that. we all should try living... instead of ending on cliches it's our struggle for identity that leaves us all unknown [This message has been edited by Ethan Halo (12-01-2002 03:30 AM).] |
