I just like this one, regardless of the fact that it just screams "I'M OBVIOUSLY A TEEN!" Sorry and all...you just have to suffer. >; P ---------------------------------------------------- "void" Time enters a void My mind awakens The beat of my heart stops I am in another world This emotional world I now reside in I smile and cry freely here Meeting strangers I¡¦ve always known Colours that have never existed Swirl about the cities Violence tears at one¡¦s soul But happiness is the worst death Small and quiet, this world Large and loud, always and never I live in a world of opposites But they are together without pause Forever happy here, I cry My tears are of sadness and joy I am free in this place For once I can be myself without worry I open my eyes slowly The screeching of my alarm Another world lost for an eternity Only to be visited again If time and space are curved, where do all of the straight people come from? |

Cool. I have some friends who are like that... You know, the ones who dye their hair green and pierce every place they can... And some they can't. I used to not be a torrent of emotions that I didn't understand. Now I understand them. Anyways, back on topic(I get off topic a lot), that wasn't something I had to "suffer through". |

Haha, this is pretty good for "teen angst". Or maybe my standards are just too dang low... Anyhow, compared to other teen compositions I'd say this is pretty good. Sorry, but I've seen some rather trashy teen stuff[hope I'm not offending anyone. I won't mention any names, Fractal007!] Anyway, your description of sleep is pretty good. Also, u don't have to get out of teenage years to write good poetry. |

I do not see this as teen angst...I see it rather as a poem with a lot of thoughts put in one, and a very good poem at that...thanks for sharing, and i feel like that sometimes too...Keep shining! Love Always, |

Ha! I recognize your signature. Emily Dickinson! I really like her stuff. Thanks for the kind words. Good to know I'm not the only one! If homosexuality is a disease, let's all call in queer to work: "Hello. Can't work today, still queer." (If only...>; P) |
