The sensation of movement in the pit of my stomach
Stench of stale urine fills my nostrils
A fluorescent death cry emits its buzzing flicker
Graffiti on steel walls briefly illuminated
The door whines in protest
Cold air forces collar against cheek
I make my way into the valley
Steam rises from a grate in the floor
Stained yellow by a lone street lamp
An old car grimacing
One eye shut radiator exposed
Feelings of disgust hit me
Can I remain untainted
Will I lose another piece of my humanity

Beautifully Written, I enjoyed this very much.

I loved the imagery that this piece created in my mind...so vivid and melancholy. Lovely...
