The sensation of movement in the pit of my stomach Stench of stale urine fills my nostrils A fluorescent death cry emits its buzzing flicker Graffiti on steel walls briefly illuminated The door whines in protest Cold air forces collar against cheek I make my way into the valley Steam rises from a grate in the floor Stained yellow by a lone street lamp An old car grimacing One eye shut radiator exposed Feelings of disgust hit me Can I remain untainted Will I lose another piece of my humanity |

Beautifully Written, I enjoyed this very much. Kisses, Succubus Some say it's better to have 10% of something than a 100% of nothing... |

I loved the imagery that this piece created in my mind...so vivid and melancholy. Lovely... "Am assured, receptive, responsive women of substance. My sense of self comes not from other people but from myself? That can't be right." Bridget Jones |
