I sought warmth I midst if blue Sultry yellow star In October sky Diminished heat Retreats To dark domain Abandons The day And leaves A chilled wake Of frigid wind I stand now Stripped bare Of any vestment Any raiment Sufficient To console my core Sit huddled As shivering night Envelops Ensconced In bluest midnight And await The return Of the daystar To be warmed Once again To be burned Anew ~wranx In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward". |
