The only reason she speaks of him is in attempt to bring me down. It's not fair, the way I'm mistreated. It's not fair, that I'm always last. It's not fair that he said that he loved me, and still I am one of the past. The only time you spoke of him, was when she knew I needed him. It's not fair, I'm just pushed aside. It's not fair, I've been lied to. It's not fair that he said he loved me, and still doesn't care if I die. It's not fair, that friends are competition. It's not fair, that you're so damn ambitious. It's not fair that the fact that your thinner, make you the winner. It's not fair, that he's not who I thought... I just want to die... And of all people, I thought he'd be the one to understand that, and try to prevent it-- Not provoke it ... but what do I know?? I guess ... not him. Wow, this poem gave me goose bumps. In my opinion, I don't think it's as much his fault as it is society's. Society tells us what's beautiful nowadays, and fat is not beautiful in society's eyes. Go figure, right? This poem reminds us how cruel life can seem for those who don't look like what society wants them to look like... It must have taken you a lot of courage to write this. Thanx for putting it out there, after all, nobody is perfect, and if we choose to give in and be something we're not, are we going to be happier then? Wouldn't we be happier if we saw those around us not as different, but as unique? I am unique, you are unique, and unique translates into beautiful. Sad surface, sadder beneath, but a bit wise for that. Oh, and do you mean "loved," not love? Mikey |

'what was will be what is will be no more' Ghostbuster sequel quotes aside, that is how things work 20+ pounds over sciences' 'perfect' stat. -OR Minus, is simply a matter of fashion. 100 years ago, Twiggy was ugly and YOU were beyond gorgeous F*ck him F*ck that I love you if only because of this poem and screw him besides I know how it feels, and beyond the bounds of that---my 'he' was the wrong gender to love me back I still cry sometimes |
