You've toughned up my features, my face is now ringed around with shades of harshness, drained away the innocence, made my touch cold, my eyes icey to behold. You gave me the answers and so plunged me into this spiral of disallusionment, made me see my dreams were but mirages, that quickly fade, and all those mysteries merge into the coarse arid landscape that now surrounds me. So I have learned your lessons, I now know the sunshine thats falling on my face is just darkness watered down to look like light, you certainly made me see the truth and now I am stuck in this wasteland you have revealed to me [This message has been edited by anya (10-05-2002 03:25 AM).] |

Amazing. I loved this piece so much, especially this part: "I now know the sunshine thats falling on my face is just darkness watered down to look like light" Very touching. See Ya... |

Always good to see a post from you in here, anya, as I know you prefer Teen. So thanks. [This message has been edited by bsquirrel (10-07-2002 02:56 PM).] |

"So I have learned your lessons, I now know the sunshine thats falling on my face is just darkness watered down to look like light, you certainly made me see the truth and now I am stuck in this wasteland you have revealed to me" You can always leave the wasteland and look for some real ambient light. A good write, Anya. |
