I literally
ran into him
just as I was leaving...

He kissed me twice.
Hello.
Goodbye.

This is the story of my life.

Hey... did he at least throw yo a bone in between the kisses? I know..I know...
bad ron... bad ron....

We collided

her chest bumping mine
dented the straight facade of my day
but reminded me of the softness
of another's touch

even accidental
I found my day creased

Yeah right, and then you went back to your table where the ten other men were doting on you. Now come on Ms Blaze, you cannot expect me to believe that any sane man wouldn't drool over you. ... Oh! ... That was your point? ... He wasn't sane.

I guess one becomes content with one’s poetry when one opens the book ten years hence and does NOT exclaim, “Did I really write this?”

maybe he was tired
and had to go to bed?
that's the only reason
someone
would leave YOU
that quick
right?

First things first:

Bri?

and Ron? you and I understand (okay, so you understand ME)

but Paddy?

just for public record? I did message you regarding just what your definition of "sanity" is--? still waiting? But thank you for the presumption of ten men anyhow. Not a bad thought, if I let myself drift a bit...

but thanks all for reading.

Awwww shucks. I have no idea where I might pick up such a message. I'm quite new to this site so still finding my way around.

Sanity is best defined as: the opposite of one who could nonchalantly say goodbye to you.

But, I know it wasn't your intention to allow me yet another opportunity, so, I should say that a sane person is one who avoids extreme views or actions, or in this case; inaction.

I guess one becomes content with one’s poetry when one opens the book ten years hence and does NOT exclaim, “Did I really write this?”
