Congratulations on your pleasurable purchase of
your new child; you won't regret his help.

Presented below are directions on the care of your
opportune bundle of joy:

No matter what make sure he's on your side.
A child on the side of the other parent costs money.

Be sure to have a good list of atrocities.
By this we mean things your spouse has done.

Read your list of atrocities to him regularly.
This will help preserve his/her allegiance.

When your child thinks divorce is not
His problem state in simple terms that it
Most certainly is, and that he must side with you
In any coming crises your family may
Be forced to endure, since your spouse is far too poor
To raise him and give him all the toys he needs.

He is not to know that there exist options
Other than allegiance with a single parent.

Have a great life.
Remember, when he's on your side he's making you money.

"If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh"

I liked this... sarcasm may be the lowest form of wit, but I personally think it's very effective, especially when used with a serious subject. Congrats! (And no, I'm not being sarcastic!)

I'm with arthur on this one. A controlled, fiery burn. I just hope it extends to your words only -- not your whole being.

Thankyou for your compliments.  I must confess that when it comes to where my fury extends, my writing is an outlet.  Lately I've been writing a lot of furious poems concerning the subject of divorce.  It's been something that's really bothered me, especially when I think of the kinds of people who have been involved in the divorce of my parents.
