Here dark witch
toss the bones
and let's see what
indeed indifferent gods
have to say on this.

I would not laugh
so easily
at unknowing eyes
to cause them
to turn a glare
instead of glance

So toss the bones
I would see them dance
on hardpacked earth
before I in turn
dance under it

Thanks, Ron! Now you need a title. Indifferent witch, perhaps?

I love how you can throw stones and bones around so well.

I've known my share of witches and deviners...thrown the bones and read the cards. perhaps too well they all made an impression on me of the uncertainty and perfidy of it all...

Ron,
Glad to meet ya.
Also, glad to have read ya.
Also, glad this wasn't about readin' entrails.

In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward".

Ser.... want me to go to the butcher and find you one? (chuckling)

Wranx:
Nice to meet you as well...
  nice to have read you...

entrails huh...

Quick snapped twirl
the headless run
spelling stories in red
as it heeds not
the lack of thought

Split it
with this knife

no other will do

then let me see
what was inside for you

Here dear boy
hold out your hands
you can not squirm
or the fates and fear will hex

Now lay them here
and together we will devine
what was hidden in beating heart

You're pretty good with wit.  You've done a good job capturing both a moment and your speaker's thoughts during this moment.
