I swear this is the best post i have ever put on here!

If you want something to happen,
it is you that has to believe,
If you are struggling to get out of the darkness,
Searching to find relief,
You have to stand up and fight for your rights,
So that everything will be alright,
No one can do it for you,
It is you that has to pull through,
When you think you can't make it through the night,
Just use all your strength and all your might,
Your the only one that can save yourself,
Not one person, nobody can do it, BUT YOU,
So put on your armor,
And walk through the night,
Grab your sword and grasp it tight,
Kill all the demons,
Destroy the night,
Keep on fighing until you find the light,
you will know when you have conquered this tough battle,
You will know when you have won,
You will have fought through the evil,
And your mission will be done,
Never give up your faith you have in yourself,
Never give up the hope you have,
Cause faith and hope bring wealth,
From the good things you have do not stray,
Don't let those good things go away,
do not let evil step in your way,
Just keep up your faith day by day,
Let the sun shine in and bring you light,
And make all your days, very bright,
Now can you see what hope can do?
Now you see that it was all because of you.

Thanks mom! As everyone can probably tell, I haven't been on for a good I would say 3 weeks so I am just now checking my replies and stuff. Thank you all for the wonderful feedback!

Wow, I enjoyed this piece. It by far very good! Wonderful write.

Faith is what I live by, what I live on, that and my dream. It helps me through the dark days. Again, a fantastic piece of work!

Oh! I just remembered. On this line: "And make all your days, very bright," I thought maybe make it "...so very bright," For me, that little extra word helps it flow. Just a thought. I love it nontheless. God bless.

You know, I was having a pretty Crappy day,

until I came on to check what was new in the Poetry forums and when I pulled up the site and saw that my poem "Only You" was back up on the first page, I almost fell out of my seat and fainted. This has been a pretty popular poem and I really appreciate all the feedbacks. This poem makes me smile

everytime I read it and just to come home and see all the feedbacks on this poem made me jump for joy!

Thank you much everyone, I love you guys so much. You all are such good encouragement and whenever I feel down, I know where to come!!! Thanks and Thanks again.
