Stare deeper into thy eyes that are red, Say'th thee horned black knight though thee black helm, My knight adorned in silved armour lead, To protect thee through the lands of the relm, Exchanging insults and wicked glances, Hissing threats, Mounted high upon thee horse, Tournaments begin with charging lances, Black knight aiming for head without a pause, Blur of hooves thunder down a dusty path, Fair knight raging towards deathly impact, A hit unconious the crowd roared and laughed, Thy black knight unseated, By his sword slashed, My love prevailed and inheriated land, With thee evil banished he won thy hand. If your afraid of the dark, then why did you come? |

Hey, Maria. A poem like this reminds me of my school days, when I'd suddenly be struck with an inspire, turn on the computer, write it all down, and feel sated afterwards. I have no idea why that memory was sparked by this poem -- it just had a sort of "Writing it for my own sake" feel about it. I liked it. ![]() |
