She is a rose
dried to a book,
the ghost of oil's
unread fragrance.

The queen sips her wine.
(which you offered to her)
She looks tired in her eyes.
Tears are trapped behind the glass.

Shining.

And you whisper poison lips,
and a lotus smile.

She stops sipping, shineless.
Her hair falls forward on the stair.
Sometimes a reason why.
Is this a crown to a new light?

Rotting an apple backward,
filagree touch distended.
Shh, your majesty. I love your idea.
And so from hence goodnight.

ah...

just ah...

this read like a portrayal of the kiss of a dying bloom, petals falling still wet from lips...

totally, totally lovely, and? as the last poem I read tends to run through my mind? smile, this one is it for me this day.

Perfection.

an undercurrent
of ominous
to me

but beautiful
seems almost like from the

"the ghost of oil's unread fragrance"
And this!!
"Rotting an apple backward,
filagree touch distended. "
Incredible analogous wording!
Absolutely loved this one!

brian,
It seems to be a link between
One deck later and
Diastonene. (how, I'm not sure)

Tier,
Thank you.

NFN,
I'm glad you liked the words in this.
They took a few tries to think of.

Zall,
Thanks.
