I prayed..... funny thing is for the first time it was answered the one I wished craved to abandon was vapor in the wind a blind call at that like seeing a shadow or a demon in your mind can it be real? funny thing is now it is or is it?? like tasting the sun scorching my senses a bitter reality my disillusionment disappears cuts like a knife yet, I still can feel now, not funny at all cruel answer to my prayer crimson flow from my veins be careful I used to hear about what you would ask for might be closer than near too close for comfort sake smoke in my face mirrored image of the sea that is what I grasped to be gone now the blue forever in that prayer dance a standoff of wills can the prayer overcome? the storm raging outside? the sky turns dark then blue again just not what I expected [This message has been edited by Scarlet Lady (09-10-2002 02:19 AM).] |
