I dip the horizon -
with fingertip stains,
the winds arch
in rainbow...
chanting my name.

Blood bows before me
(scorching my veins)
lips kiss so faithful-
‘neath tender shaped rain

I strum from a memory
(not quite my own)
But a joint recollection-
of tender struck stone.

Within awed amaze-
I strike back in song
“so blissful in bounty
so warm in belong.”

Drowsy from dizzy-
I rub emerald lids,
To spill sighs to sky-
In dream?
I shall live!

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

Damn! devina, this has been missin' round here. Glad to see this. (and new pic, have you done something with your hair?).

A happy B-Day to the Angel from me (alas, it's another way to mark time).

And a great write!

D,
The picture looks like you're going to climb out of the frame and devour me, leaving nothing but bones in your wake. -- and indifferent to it the whole time!

The poem was a bit gentler.

Mikey

Missed ya!
