Only, uh .... 66 more cards to go?

One deck later (continued continued continued)
Death:
Do not fear
the sapling's roots
growing through
war's graveyard.
A plain of blood,
the bones of sun,
shadows out
those left calm.
River water rainy thunder
stormless eyes of stone and wonder.

Temperance:
The trees blew wind
through his glazed red wings,
stumbling to reach
the heights of the field.

One foot upon,
one foot upon.

A simple walk
to fly again.

The Devil:
There is no sun,
no time to study
the rays it makes
upon moon's wake.
These chains
to fasten,
to hone a fashion
of limbs, loose links.
Proclaim your face.

The Tower:
I tasted the dust
of collapse.
Great clouds of smoke
in signs left secret.
From the base of tumbled stone,
I watched the sky grow closer.

The Star:
She removed two cups of light
and bade me drink their quiet depths.
Unbroken even at my lips,
like psalmic waters of intent.
Every drop a star again.
I felt her breath upon my when.

The Moon:
A crayfish swam through the clear
and silent darkness of the pond.
It seemed to be floating there,
suspended by the light and air.
Traversed the moon's quavered pane,
a light without face or source.
A wolf in the distant rows,
or a dog finding the worst?

I traced path throughout expanse
in its light, a borrowed force.

The Sun:
Their child rode up
a field of rows.
Heads of yellow,
the wind's greeted sigh.

..... soooo close to finishing the Major Arcana, but I am currently blessed with a headache of throbbing and alarming alacrity. again

Okay, I know now why it's just kinda slippery for me. I know nothing at all about tarot cards. Nothing, nada, nil. Never delved into them at all. But now that I know, *had a really long drawn out blonde moment* I can relate to the writing at least with some intelligence. *very little... shhhh*  You are doing a splendid job with this and I will read to find out about something I know absolutely nothing about at the moment. So you are teaching me as you write. Thank you

Mike? I'm enjoying this so much, but fear I may have overstepped by offering my own interpretations, so I shall herewith cease and desist. An old friend told me once, that Tarot cannot be taught--but must be remembered--and brian was quite right in stating that there is no wrong answer--so please don't think me presumptuous in that I think I have the answers here---I only have my own, and lately, not too many. I'll write when I can (my "life" is going crazy again--if ya know of whom I speak! )

And? Ed is also correct in that you shouldn't let this wear it out--if it's not a joy? I wouldn't even do it. But this IS a joy to read!

Thanks for tolerating my over-zealous enthusiasm.

Sen,
Don't worry -- your knowledge is fascinating and helpful. And I can put it aside when I need to, to write this.

I'm undertakin' this not just for the benefit of the Dark forum,
but for myself.

Much love to you.

Sen rocks with every word she leaves here.

And the only reason I'm not writing more? Work/life is currently getting in the way.

But as wranx says, they're not goin' anywhere.

I will be back. Oh yes, I will be back.
