"Do you perhaps think your slight so slight really reaches" ~ I take this to mean the slighting by one person of another and if that person who slights the other person understands how the slight can affect the person slighted. Am I correct? "do you think a poet heart beats any less for your careless" ~ and if it makes a difference if the person who is slighted is poet. "oversight so slight so slight so slight" ~ Not an oversight, so slight... "so, no" ~...but a slight. Yes? A very interesting write; simple with not many words, but deep. |
