The companion to A death in the snow (California winter), never posted before. Mike A death in a jar (California summer) I need your hand to lift me. You must reach in your thumb. Your thumb to dry my wings. I'm dying between glass. I've never tasted honey. It's just my chewed, soft spit. Do not lock the lid. Lift me out, to find my way from the lip of this mistake. You put sugar in the water. No, suffocating flower. I'm directionless; unsure, undancing. I was once a part of morning. I wrote poems in the sky. Free me to that paper. I cannot test my wings. The sun is water, honey. A death as soft as light. |

"I'm dying between glass" Perfect heart. Sand to glass Coal to diamond Dying between either Is still your eulogy. Excellent, Bsquirrel! "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm |
