What is it that you play in your room all alone late at night, in the dark hand ready by the phone? What game of broken lives has caught you in it's web? The last time you felt, in a time way back when. Interesting this life of ruination in the night, with words spat quick. To destroy, your delight. What sick and twisted game is this that you play how is it that you sleep keeping nightmares away, when your words of abuse are all that I hear how is it that you rest with nothing to fear? For I will tell you this, now you play with me. I've words you don't know can't explain, can't see, I'll crush the foundation push you back where you belong you won't play this game not with me, not for long. I'm stronger in my faith in my words, in my love, and of this sick game I've had quite enough. WhiteRose The White Rose~ A simple expression of classic beauty. Thank you Mike. It certainly does. I've changed the ending of the poem, and may change it again. I'm just not happy with it as it is. What a weight was lifted in the writing of this one though. |

I wrote one like this (kind of, sort of, in a little way). Well..yours is much better...and yea. I enjoyed reading it very much! -Tanya ~*~I'm only a dreamer, with broken dreams, and only words to fall back on~*~ |
