Fallow
the ruse
    of languor-edge
        (a fable)
trite
poortry

I never aimed at reality; I aimed at truth. --Orson Welles

just suppose
that I am trite--
and even tears
are cold cliche'--

like a rose
that suffers blight
as all my thorns
get in the way--

of anyone that tries to fight
the plight of the forgotten rose...
I fall as weakened stars in night--
my petals handglide
heart's deathblow...

smiling. dunno where that came from...but it bounced from you and onto me.

In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward".

wranx ...

Oh my god.........

I FORGOT ABOUT THE JOYCE CHALLENGE!

I don't feel I have the tools yet
to accomplish it.

I'm gonna read Ulysses
once I finish The Lovely Bones,
on rental from a roommate.

I never like to admit Fallow to be my middle name, but yet, I digress...
Your sudden jump to such trite and contrite (lol) shortness [is this a paradox or oxymoron...god, I'm losing it] is a welcome 90 degree turn in the far too often straight asphault of life.

god you make me feel like i'm back in ms. newton's advanced english class reading the old-english version of the "canterbury tales". yet, chaucer never weilded such a sharp blade at his then modern "tripes". those with 3-d glasses will immediately jump at your jumping to "wright" the wrongs!

i'll always need a friend, one i can defend.

in all honestly I've pondered this one this morning at the same time..woah..lol asked my step mum to help me break it down.. *cough* I'm sorry lack of caffiene and chocolate in my diet among other things..but now I get it..does that make me a bad person!?  atleast I'll admit that something went over my head but now that I understand it..some good stuff!
