Open your eyes to darkness Fill your mind with worry Is fear devouring you body? Your soul lays exposed to the world In a moment that blinds you completely Your life has now been changed What you feel now is temporary But will linger in your mind forever You scream with freedom Is that what you really want? You know that an answer Is not always fair or just Frustration mixes with nervousness Impatience is now in control Stress wracks you mind and soul Weariness claims you body In a moment that blinds you completely Your life has now been changed What you feel now is temporary But will linger in your mind forever ---------------------------------------------------- Sorry. I for some reason have this unusual obsession with innocence and purity, but I'm trying to not write about it so much. Lemme know what you think! Thanks. |

DeG I used to fixate, once when, on purity, innocence and madonna/whore ideals. Then I realized, we all have the capacity for both at once. Insousciant Mike |

I too have this innate draw to purity...(grin) But, your re-gression to the "What you feel now is temporary But will linger in your mind forever" was so admirably and strategically placed, that I was abruptly contemplative, not unlike an immoveable wall hit by an unstoppable ball... (enigma answered: I, like the ball, spun in place...moving at a fast pace of mentality, but stuck in the moment...) Great write! |
