Longing for a glimpse of days gone by. Desiring the past, yet here in the now. So much pain, so much torment. All sorrow, all lies. Happiness is in the days, the days gone by. Nevermore, and too hard to repeat. My future may be bright, but our past is dark as hell. [This message has been edited by PoetryIsLife (08-14-2002 05:36 PM).] |

Enjoyed this, Titus. Glimpse, not glimps -- unless that stands for Gigantic blimps. Hmm, that alone would make an interesting poem. Headin' to Florida Guy |

Glad you enjoyed it, Mike. What did you enjoy in particular? What did you feel it was saying? I'd love to hear. What's in Florida? When do you leave? Sincerely, Titus "I'll prepare myself, and one day my time will come." |

The words are small, simple and blunt as stones that are being thrown through a window. It's sort of a staggering hope to it. Very real and human. That's what I meant. |
