I am everywhere

(I'm not sure if this is really a *POEM*)

Your puckish behavior leads me to believe that
you're afraid to grown up,
afraid to let life grind you to human form.

So you stay inside your fake, docile world,
and drown in the noiseless screams of the intensity
that's buried in you self-righteousness.

WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE ME?

My integument is worn, and so,
I wear my prosthetic facade.
It saves me from what people say.

BUT UNLIKE YOU, I DON'T PRETEND NOTHING WAS SAID.

With time, I learned to cope with what life gave me,
and what life took away.
But you'll never do that ... you'll never cope.

At one point in everyone's life, they'll give something up,
some sooner that others, but since you seem to hold things so tightly...
yours will come later ... and unexpectedly.

And that day, life will catch up with you...
She'll show you how your life should have been-
and only with one touch of her pail, spidery, frail hand.

She'll show you everything--
how much you hurt me, and everyone else
that you pushed aside and denied, just to get on top.

I know what you think...
"i can just keep running"
And I assure you, that you can.

But some time, you'll have to catch your breath.
And that's when she'll get you.
She'll stare inside you with her cold blue-green eyes.

She'll stab you with all the
possibilities, and probabilities,
all that you allowed to fade.

So learn to take what life give you,
and what she takes away.
And get into THE world, Jake.
It's harsh, but when you open your eyes...
you may find something.

But now ... tell me this:

WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE ME,
when I've just out-judged you?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Docile - easily managed

Integument - natural covering or shell

Prosthetic -- from prosthesis...
prosthesis -- An artificial device used to replace a missing body part, such as a limb, tooth, eye, or heart valve.(it's about a body part, but if you think about it... it could just mean artificial...right?)

_Just Thought I'd Clear It Up, If Anyone Misunderstood_

"Your suffering will free you."

i loved it...but how could you do this to me??? get better and not tell me? my little muse i am now mad at you....ok now i forgive you...wonderful poem i loved it and my favorite part was:
.

At one point in everyone's life, they'll give something up,
some sooner that others, but since you seem to hold things so tightly...
yours will come later ... and unexpectedly.

and no, not the golden gate bridge (which i got a chance to drive over )

life may just take a while but i guess heaven's worth the wait
