Children lying sick Lost in the mist Maybe they'll die Maybe they'll grow old Believe in me 'Cause I belive in you You're beautiful Lay in my arms You're beautiful So very beautiful Can't belive That this is truly true Are you here with me Am I just asleep Believe in you 'Cause you belive in me We're beautiful Lying by ourselves We're beautiful So very beautiful Children lying sick Lost in the mist Maybe they'll die Maybe they'll grow old "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm |

I could go into SO many readings of this poem...as only the author knows for certain... You've brought on the idea of faith with this one...I'd love to hear you true take on this!!! hard facts, and even harder emotions you've portrayed!!! Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

This one, when read, came out like a saddeningly beautiful song. I actually heard it during the reading. And what devina said was so matter of fact to truth, there's so much here that's awesome, but there's so much here that's not openly conveyed. You have a true gift, News. I loved this one to the point of tears. |

scary. the quick, yet somehow easy transition from sick lying children to beauty lying in your arms... and was the use of "belive" meant to be believe each time, or was that an even furthering of the scariness? either way, this was deep. i'll always need a friend, one i can defend. I agree with the others this is very deep. If your afraid of the dark, then why did you come? |
