My homeland is not of the world

Confusion

Why do you act the way you do;
Impressing them, yet denying you?
You’re walking in the mist of lies;
While your personality dies.

Your killing yourself and for what?
You hid yourself and strut
Like the fool you turned out to be.
You are ignorant in the highest degree.

You’re a lie, I proclaim!
You’re not what you became.
You are not what you perceive,
Despite what you believe.

Confusion overpowers you mind.
Your reality is now blind.
You have denied your life,
And surrendered to the inward strife.

You’re a fool, I announce!
When did the lies pounce?
When did you become this lie?
When did your reality die?

"They do not love that do not show their love.”-Shakespeare

Thanks for the replies everyone
bsquirrel, as for the story you were interested to hear, I don't have much to say.  I just basicly woke up one day, and had a big wake up call.  I saw what I was becoming, and it didn't seem like me at all.  It was a sunday so I went to church, as always, but this time was different.  it was like something was calling me...well to make a long story short, I decided to become a christian, and I saw what I could become...and that version of me is one of my ultament goals.
