The moon sees me Alone in sitting Toasting the enemy Toasting the friend Both found now in solitude alone, lonely All that has been Intentions in place Testing the unkind Testing the thorn-bites Both found now in solitary persona, named you Sorrow carries me I do not carry it Releasing the desired Releasing the moon Both found now in soliloquy recited, way too long (Curtain falls... Anyone got a beer Watching the moon Watching my own self Both found now in solid truth, dismissal again) [This message has been edited by Purity (08-11-2002 04:14 AM).] |

I see a beach bonfire a small party of friends but a lonely sense of reflection this could only be "soli" yours, of course nice BS I never aimed at reality; I aimed at truth. --Orson Welles |

"Watching the moon Watching my own self" Such dualism. And Brian said it best, although I fear it is not a piece "soli" felt by you. Loved the two foldness meaning. "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm |

"sorrow carries me, i do not carry it" reminded me of "the man in the iron mask" ("i wear the mask it does not wear me") you wrote well here. i'll always need a friend, one i can defend. |
