I want to write but I can't express the horizon of my dreams I know they could become reality even if only to be found on paper there're in my make believe world cluttered with cob webs and debris How do I keep the ink silky and liquefied? A flowing current of passions depths? I find there is no raven black or midnight blue Only my state of mind bruised beyond healing This wounded soul is callused scorched by the searing heat drifting aimlessly without a compass A bloody river runs through my veins A tormenting flood of despair that keeps me locked inside Desperately I seek a well of life giving water that will impart once again to my brittle bones All I find is a drowning torrent killing me slowly taking my last breath keeping me a slave to this rage of desire The glare of the paper blinds me controls my inner words I have lost my way in the darkness without hope of change Death a somber reminder of the vapor I am I am but dust without a voice falling falling falling The truth locked inside forever of how my pen would truly write (I haven't posted in awhile and it appears my pic has went bye-bye....I really do not look like an X!!) i echo the above.... "The glare of the paper blinds me " i know what that feels like...a fantastic image. nice channeling of frustration. it's our struggle for identity that leaves us all unknown |

Hey wranx....ahhhhh don't be so modest! I have been checking out your work and plan to post some feedback. Your ability to "spit" it out is remarkable. bsquirrel.....I am definately in my hour of writers block. Wants to come out, but just can't seem to get it together. You seem to have no problem whatsoever let'n the ink flow. Great poetry! MidnightSon.....boy you coined it well, FRUSTRATION! Seems that has me bound in many ways. Can't seem to get that glare out of my eyes. Thanks everyone for readin and writin! Catch you later.....off to work now. |
