A dark-hooded figure stood by her side In the bloody, soaked mud where she layed She tried to pretend he wasn't there She wished he would go away, He just stood there looking at her, The expression of grief showed on his face He was waiting for her to die. She felt her life's blood gusting out From the deep wound in her heart She looked up at the hooded figure Looking right into the face of death She knew her time was near She always knew that she would die young But this was not in her plans She wanted to die in a comfortable bed Not in a hard floor full of blood She could hear the mournful cries of dying Reaching out longingly That can only be silenced by death... |
