Not Another Day not another day stuck in this hell behind the bars of my mind not another day closed in and trapped between the walls seperating sanity from insanity not another day stuck in a airless room feeling like my life is on display not another day I can't stand it feeling locked in with no escape not another day of this pressure in my head moving back and forth like a puppet on a stick not another day I'm liable to do something desperate to yell, and kick, and bite anything to breakout of my prison not another day no not another day please god no not another day not another day stuck in this hell behind the bars of my mind not another day I'm liable to do something desperate to yell, and kick, and bite anything to breakout of my prison |

A few years back, I spent a year in an institution. Your poem is exactly how that feels. It's ok, though. We're fine now. We swear it. |
