Standing on the Edge of Destruction A life filled With so much strife Spawns transparent thoughts Of a better life I must fight for My own existence Alone and weak In life I seek Happiness! I stand on the Edge of destruction Thoughts and Ideals Lost in time Time it took to Come to the realization That all you knew Was just a sick illusion Derived to save society From persecution I stand on the Edge of destruction Passion fuels my love Passion becomes consumed by my love Without my love I become passionless |

Very nicely written here. I like how the poem is composed. Thoughts were very well put down and flowed quite nicely. I liked thisone a lot.......hopefully the edge extends itself a bit farther from you. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

And if not, push it. Good poem. -Allan We used to hate people, now we just make fun of them. It's more effective that way. --KMFDM |

I love hte way your poem was constructed. It's simplicity is what gives it's own depth. You're very talented, that I can see, so keep posting. Thanks for the read I see no changes, wake up in the morning I ask myself, "Is life worth living or should I blast myself" TUPAC SHAKUR |

I know how that feels. I was just standing on such an edge not too long ago. Sometimes it's good to just have faith that all will unfold as it should. It is madening when you come to the realization that so much of society is an illusion. |

Cool piece. Sometimes you need to take a step back from that edge and see why you're really there. Nice poem. xoxo Jenn "I'm a big, big, girl, in a big, big world, it's not a big, big thing if you leave me, but I do feel, that I will miss you much..." Emilia |
