wandering along the dessolate land for so long
the water ran dry and the manna grew stale
running in cirlces both day and night
never knowing what the next day would bring

in the wilderness i was trapped
in the wilderness i was birthed
in the wilderness I was saved

roamed around for 19 years not seeing the truth
the law was in front of my face yet
in my own rebellion I lost my place
then the voice called out from the mount of zion

in the wilderness I was trapped
in the wilderness i was birthed
in the wilderness i was saved

brought up promised milk and honey
but times came and trials ragged
while I forgot my duty and went my own way
i almost lost all that was promised

In the wilderness i was trapped
in the wilderness i was birthed
in the wilderness i was saved

turned around set my life straight
but my consequences still haunt me today
I allow He that is able to lead me
and bring me to the promised land

In the wilderness I was trapped
in the wilderness i was birthed
in the wilderness i Am Saved

I'm not asking U 2 luv me I'm just letting out the truth no hold barred about what I feel nothing wrong with what I say

Awesome work, here.  I enjoyed this poem a lot.  The change in the last line is really touching.  Is this a song?  I think it would make a good song too.  Just a thought... I enjoyed this.  Very nice message.

Yeah I agree with the others that this should be a song. Lovin the last line, and the rest of it too, for that matter. Great job, keep it up!

this has such a great sense of peace.  I really love it!  The spiritual forum is great if you post like this often...they have a really wonderful perspective to offer.
