They say the best things in life are Free I say the best thing in life is free... People believe People fight People strive People all want to be Free I know why I'm Free People who never knew me, died for me Why do they call it Free? The thing they call Free Came at a terrible price The price for Freedom The best thing in life is Free... Castles made of sand, slip into the sea eventually... |

I like this one a lot! You're definatly right about freedom coming at a terrible price. Very deep! Rhonda "Who did that?" "Charlie and Blake." "Who's Charlie and Blake?" "Rhonda and Amy.""Great. There goes the school." |

I enjoyed this a lot....provoked a lot of thoughts..... like... honestly, how free do you think you are in contrast to how free you TRULY are? I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

very thought provoking. And i like jon's comment from 1984 "so when at times the mob is swayed to carry praise or blame too far, we may choose something like a star" --Frost |

I totally agree. Being free is the most important thing in my opinion and we all know (hopefully) that it didn't happened over night. Anyway, I really liked your poem. It's good. "Love like yuo never been hurt, live like today was the last day and dance like no one is watching." |
