THE PANTHER The panther walks its jungle, roaming with a loose jointed gate His yellow eyes slit through with flecks of black mirror its soul a soul filled with instinct to pounce, to ravage, to violate..... Spotting an unsuspecting panther, grinning with its feline grin Its instinct to hunt, to eat, to violate... takes over its senses With a steady gate along the soft forest bed no noise, no warning no chance..... with one vicious pounce he has the panther beneath him she fights with all her might seeing a crazed look in her fellow panther' s eye she quits her struggles to be pounced, to be ravaged to be violated..... Regina, this is very nice. I love poems with double meanings. Those are the ones that make me think, and I don't get to do that very often. Jon "Your anger is a gift"-Rage Against The Machine |

Wow regina....heavy stuff.... You wrote this one very well. I liked it so much. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
