I need to learn to swim But the water's too cold I'm scared to jump in I'm praying no one will push me in before I'm ready But there are the hands Warm upon my back Shoving me closer Closer to the edge I have seen so many times before This time I'm weak And those hands are so strong One more step And I'm falling through the air with no one there to catch me Praying for a miracle Hoping its a dream But it feels so real And I know there's no way out this time around Unless you're there to catch me Unless you're there to save me Before my time is up Before I crash into the cresting waves Broken, not my the fall, but by my disappointment The waves wash over me Sand filters through my fingers I survived the fall But will I survive the next one? *~*Amanda*~* My tears roll right down my cheeks, but they all soak into my pillow. Great job here and I liked this one. You'll survive the next way just stay positive!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
