Poor Excluded Me This year is over I can say it was the worst There was no kiss There was no first My resolution in shambles Neither loved nor lost Failure of me? I hold myself at this cost I never heard "yes" all year this went on I can't help but think Something in me is wrong Never her heart's choice My soul's been ripped apart My tears bleed this ink To reflect the bleeding of my heart I can only believe There is only one love for another Poor excluded me; forget me Think of me as just one other This shoreline beats for another I stand on my cliff and see The lovers low in their tents Never poor excluded me All the times when I lay sleepless; this rain Shattered another's silence Never reflecting my pain There is only one horizon Never meant for me to see Set for two perfect Not for poor excluded me I feel so regresseed I forget the rest It i can never start over I could never start over I was meant for one thing only To remain poor poor exluded me hopeless, and i cry because of it at the edge of tears sift the heavens will always drift for someone else "This is cactus land!!!"-T.S.Eliot |

Hey, This is a wonderful poem I love it and for that it's going into my library. Until your next masterful work. Oh I know things will get better -- Linc "Once you reach your original goal it seems that the journey was your real accomplishment." |

Wow this poem is awesome! It really hit home with me. I hope things get better for you. You won't always be poor excluded you. Because remember this to someone sitting alone there will always be another person somewhere moaning of their loneliness. Therefore, no one is really ever alone. Wonderful post! *that what does not kill us makes us stronger!* |

excelent form and a great rhyme scheme. I really like this poem and I can really relate to it, don't worry life is a road and sometimes you get to hill that's always hard to go up but when you do go up and start going down it's oh so good. Don't worry bout this year and forget what's bothering you, nothing is wrong with you and you'll soon find who you seek then you'll know this is the one. keep posting I see the darkness coming all is bleak... |

I didn't think this poem was as good as your others, BUT it did have a POWERFUL ending. I loved the ending. Very well thought out! Hope to see more! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
