Recipe for pain.

175g Selfish love (7oz)
200g Hate from love gone sour (8oz)
1 x 2.5 ml Forgotten teardrops (1/2 tsp)
25g Regrets from yesterday (1oz)
Fear unbeaten with 75ml endless pain (5tbsp)
75ml of unrequited love (5tbsp)
few drops from a lifetime of failure
75ml of my distress (5tbsp)

Mix together hate and love,
And rub in salt into my eyes,
Struck down by lightning from above,
From darkened summer skies,

Stir in failure, regret and fear,
Add unrequited love and pain,
Whisk until it all turns clear,
And throw it down the drain,

Scrape the remenants of your life,
Just go and forget the mess,
Slice the mixture with a knife,
And hide all your distress,

Turn the heat up till it start’s to bake,
And it starts to show the grain,
30 minutes and you have a cake,
From a recipe for pain.

Thanks for the idea Stace

Zu

awww, you're welcome!

and stop being so hard on yourself. I like this. whether that means anything or not, I dunno...but when I said recipe for pain..that's not exactly what i was talking about   but you know that.

I'm just glad that now this rainstorm has ended, and I can see the rainbow once again.

This is bloody good, Andrew. I am most impressed with the fluency and uniqueness of the writing. This should be brought up to teen #6 so people can take a look.

Glad i caught it when i went cobweb searching.
