The Hot Girl From Canada

0 posted 2001-06-03 01:53 AM

The little boy cryed,
As they took his mommy away.
But he knew in his heart,
He would see her one day.

The "new girl" in school,
Sit's in front of the mirror at night.
Wondering why that bullie,
Just had to pick a fight.

That single mom in the dinner,
Wipes her tables at work.
To put her son through collage,
Her hands are raw and they hurt.

A pretty girl,
Get's called names everyday.
She goes home and crys,
Wishing they would just go away.

A chubby boy,
Ask's a popular girl to the dance.
She laughs in his face,
And tells him he doesn't stand a chance.

A football player,
Likes a "nerd" from school.
But he wont ask her out,
Coz his friends wont think he's cool

A boy examines his bruises,
His face is black and blue.
He wishes his daddy,
Didn't have to be so cruel.

NOTE:  I wrote this poem for all the people going through rough times.  Please tell me whatcha think.

Don't judge a person untill you have walked a mile in their shoes, this way your a mile away from them, and you have their shoes.

This is really sweet, a bit sad because it's so true, but sweet. I really liked it. Great job. Keep writing. I'm sure this poem will brightne people's days, because you of them, or at least their situation

Great job here! I loved this! Simply amazing! You described a few unfortunate things that happen....you did awesome

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily
