lemme know what you think! Did you hear the blue birds sing? Could you hear the church bells ring? Did you stop to watch children play? Wansn't worth it anyway. Could you enjoy a summer rain? Did a girl cause you pain? Could you go out more than time allowed? Doesn't matter anyhow. Did you see someone cry? Could you watch someone die? Did you live life like this everyday? Even before you went away? Before you saw angels weep? Before they buried you 6 feet deep? Before Satan damned you in Hell? I hadn't the chance to wish you well. Didn't you know enough to say "hi" Or enough to say good-bye. Though your death is something I can't forget I'll miss you Lewis Angerett. |

I like the rhyme. Kinda hides the true purpose of the poem 'til the end, where it hits with dreadful violence... As far as the sympathy of strangers goes, I am sorry for your loss. Spreading insanity, one post at a time |

your first stanza reminded me of the song "Colours of the Wind"...don't ask me why though... i ditto Deranger...i had no inkling of your ending and my eyebrows arched upwards as i read to the end... an emotional piece and i hope time will help to lessen your wounds... HUGS |

Very emotional indeed. A poem well done! I enjoyed this very much and hope time heals you. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

*Tears* Litrally! My uncle just died 2 days ago so I can totally relate to this poem. But just remember hunny, god needs the best people on earth to be angles so thats why he takes are loved ones, becoz they are the best. Keep smiling Don't judge a person untill you have walked a mile in their shoes, this way your a mile away from them, and you have their shoes. |
