You’ll See

I can't find the words to say how I feel
My feelings for you, I have to conceal
The look in your eyes, when he glances at you,
The hopes in my mind begin to fall through
And I know I'm not the one you think you need
But his looks in your mind you do misread
I see you two walking, hand in hand
My knees get weak I can hardly stand
I'm not gonna push it, do what you will
But in the end this promise fulfilled
Before it's too late, I'll make you see
That in the end there's only me
Soon you will realize that all he had
Is nothin' at all, that is so sad
In me you will see, all you desire
From spark to match, blazing fire
You and me, together we'll be
Maybe not now but soon, you'll see

I know where you're coming from in this poem... and you set the situation up nicely. I liked it. good job. Keep posting.

Such a positive attutide at the end. Well done on it, and I really hope you end up prevailing in the end.
