I remember you Standing by the kissing tree Standing there and waiting Waiting just for me. You'd take my hand And we'd climb up high So high as though we'd Touch the sky And you'd never let me fall... You with your golden hair Smiling down at me Grabbing my hand, you beckon me To climb the kissing tree. I remember you Standing by the kissing tree Standing there and waiting Waiting just for me. You'd take my arm And wrap it around your waist And I knew in my heart That you'd never be replaced... You with your golden hair Smiling down at me Grabbing my hand, you beckon me To climb the kissing tree. I remember you Standing by the kissing tree Standing there and waiting Waiting just for me. Now as we sit Sheltered by the tree You lean over close As I feel you Kiss me. Then you take my hand You take my hand so gently As you grip the branch you lead me up As we climb the kissing tree. "If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that i was made for another world." |

Okay, i need me a kissing tree. There is ONE person in this entire world that I want to kiss and I probably never am going to. Anyways, AWESOME poem. It was really sweet. Well done here. I enjoyed this one. Another wonderful poem Leah!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
