i lost my heart the other day
it was ripped out
and thrown on the ground
stomped on, beaten, and torn in a million pieces

i lost my heart the other day
its buried somewhere far away
i dont need it anymore
why bother love only hurts me

i lost my heart ths other day
my brain squeezed it out
or you did?
all i know is that its gone

i wish i had my heart today
life hurts even more without it
or do i mean without you
i dont know, all i know is i hurt

i dont know where this is going
or where it came from
all i know is i cry everynight
for the lost love of my heart

i lost my heart today
when will it return?
will it even come back?
or am i loveless, heartless for eternity

i am what i am and that is all that i am and all that i shall ever be..so deal with it
no onw knows the meaning of alone

I know how you feel.. sometimes you get hurt so bad you just want to give up on love, but what is life without it? I totally understand and can relate to this...

*nods* i know this is from a whiles ago..b4 the "i like me" period..but *awwz* imma cry..very emotional and thought-provoking..as almost all your poems are..i love your writes..and you have the "elegance of a poet" (*steals your words*) i like how you related the losing of your heart to being because of a person and how you asked questions inside the poem..*hugz* gr8 poem..imma go read your other poems now..
