Daddy You didn’t know what was happening to you But you always had a smile when we came and visited That would make me happy too Daddy Sometimes I wonder what you do now since you’re in heaven? I know it’s a better place up there Because you’re not in pain Daddy You never lost your smile Even though you were in pain You never showed that you were in pain Daddy You were a hero for me You taught me just because I have a disability Doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy my life Daddy I’ll be graduating next year Leaving the place where you left me in 96 Were mom cried and you said “bye see you on Friday” Daddy I’ll never forget you You were so special to everyone Even though cancer was killing you Daddy You’ll always be missed You’ll always be remembered You’ll always be in my heart Minna RIP Mikko T. Talviharju 2-21-43- 12-23-99 Learning how to walk, Learning how to talk, are the hardest thing to do in a baby life. Learning how to walk for me is the hardest thing to do. |

It is great that you think of your father in such a glowing light. To have such a fine piece written about him would truly make him proud. ~AF~ Know what you want. Become your real self. |

This was touching. Minna, it's admiring to see the way you've cope with your father's passing. I hope to see you continue to be well with your life. Until your next post. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

awwww, I know he'd be proud of you...of this I have no doubt... I hope to hear more from you soon. I'm just glad that now this rainstorm has ended, and I can see the rainbow once again. |

Minna, this is so sad. Very, very touching poem. This one's going back up to page one where it belongs. Thanks for sharing. --Marie "You're the girl of my nightmares, erotic and skull-faced. |
