I hear them whispering behind me
I feel their breath on my neck
I sense them standing over my shoulder
...but im afraid
I dont want to look back
I dont want to see them
I dont want to be afraid
...but I am
I want to run
I want to hide from them
I want to escape
...but theres no place to go
I cower in the dark
I pull the sheet over my head
I close my eyes not wanting to see
...but their there
I hear them
I feel them
I sense them
...im afraid

Im here
and so are they

hey,
this was a kool poem. reminds me of the boogeyman or something, but i think the message behind this one is more serious than that. keep writing your kick-bum poems! :-) i always enjoy reading 'em. c ya

Wow, I really enjoyed this. Good job! it reminds me of how i feel when I hear something strange in my room at night.. only you put it into a more daily sense. I loved it.. lol
