In my dark world, There are no pretty birds. No smiling faces, No nice words to be heard For in my dark world, All the people do is cry. Living in what seems to be hell, Wishing they would die. This horrifying place, Is what we all call home. For nobody loves us, So here we are all alone. I try to escape, With my heartfelt screams. And when I finally get out, It was only just a dream. So while your out there having fun, Dark, stone walls are all I see. sitting in my pool of tears, Thinking about how great life used to be. So untill sombody helps me out, Here in my damp, dark world, Is where I'll stay. Hoping someone will rescue me one day. Don't frown, you never know who is falling in love with your smile :) |

this hit me hard!...powerful...yet with such real images and true words...i really liked this poem...thanks for sharing it and you have wrote it soooo well...hope to see more and keep writing...  ...?ahhhhh....i'm addicted to passions in poetry!!!!! |
