Well Klondike Bob is Bob Matevia and he decides if we have shcool or not really. He hardly ever cancels, so we call him (duh) Klondike Bob.  The point is, that's all ou need to know other than that there's more to this than meet sthe eye, no protests, nothing, just silent contemplation. enjoy - more to come by the way, I was...inspired by a trauma in my life of late.

The hypocrisy of snow
As the wind will blow
Fell the lament although
You can’t see through the snow

I hear on the news before
Of fronts fighting war
And snow I do adore
Gathers up too much to ignore

I go to bed and doubt
That school will be out
But hope I’m not without
Because all morning, the channels I scout

But then, 5:30, I give up hope
And go shower, and kinda mope
When I come back up, I can cope
But then I give it another try to scope

School’s cancelled today!
I could have been told, in bed, to stay
But much to my dismay
It’s 5:45, and I don’t even sway

I’m wide awake, I HATE the man
Who cancels school, I’m definitely not a fan
But my simple plan
(line was edited) "is to graduate and become a productive citizen of the United States" (gotta love the system and Republicans :-))

It’s a snow day, I should be spared
Don’t make me wait, of little I cared
Cancel it when people are scared
You’ll do better than Klondike Bob fared

No angels in heaven nor demons below the sea, could ever dissever my soul from the soul of the beautiful Annabel Lee

I liked the title...
Good ole snow...
I found some of the rhyming to be a tad labored, but all in all, it was well done. Good job!

Hahaha good ol' Yukon Bob-- that's what my class calls him *L* stupid stupid man... I hate how he calls off school at the last minute when half the students are all ready to go, waiting at the bus stop *L* Oh well, I've only got one more year of Yukon man left, so HAHAHA! I like this, it was a great laugh   Good job!

You'll most likely need to tidy up a few things within the poem....but it was ok.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

hey, this poem is cool, it's the same way here in Wisconsin.  when it isn't too bad they cancel it, but when it gets really bad that you can barely see it's time to go to school.  thanks for makin me laugh.
