we stayed up together till the sun rose
talking to each other about everything
and absolutely nothing in particular

you said some things to me that night
that brought tears to my eyes
and you and me closer together

you came to understand something about me
that no one else has or ever will
something that i keep inside buried deep within

you saw through all the masks that make me
in one split second you broke through and saw me
you understood what it is and what i am

you put a piece of youself into my box
healed my heart and mended my soul
then sealed it up tight so it wouldnt escape

you showed me your heart and gave me your love
you brought a smile to my lips and made my day
best 'frined' that you are, I Love You.

*hugs* love you best friend best 'frined'

I want to look into your eyes and see you smile at me
I want to hear you say "Well done"

I enjoyed this....tiff...yer my frined too.
Wonderful poem for the person it was written about .....show it to him.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

this is really sweet! i hope you show this poem to the erson you wrote it for because anyone would love to get a poem like this. wonderful job on this piece, keep posting your work.
