Yellow streaks the horizon
The ribbons of purple swirl
Around me.
I kneel there
And watch the crimson move
Through scarlet tides.
The setting sun
Burns with envy at the
Rising moon
For the sun has never seen
The night
And never will
As long as it's alive.

This was surely wonderful....I really liked this. You are impressing me by the post!

you are starting to annoy me leah you keep ending up being good at all sorts of stuff. Poetry is one more you are beggining to beat me in. AHHHG! (Charlie Brown Style)
