~For my friend Jamie Karnes~ June 9 1984 - November 16 1997 Hi there old friend Tell me how have you been We all have missed you and the way you grin A Day is neccessary every now and then When the sun moves on, it gives life back again Fly on, Fly on, Fly on my friend Go on and live again Day after day, night after night I second guess why I felt this way A Long look in the mirror We come face to face Wishing all the love we took for granted Now we don't even have a day Life without you, All the love you passed our way The angels have waited, for so long Now they have their way I know I'll see you again Take your place......... Castles made of sand slip into Sea eventually... |

you have a really interesting and unique style with a lot of your poems, it really makes me pay close attention to every word. i would critique the flow a little, but thet way this flowed is what made it interesting to me. good writing and keep sharing your work. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

This was sad....my concolences about your friend even though it was long ago. I'm sure he'dve loved it.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
