Interesting senryu. You're back to writing these? Cool. Is this meant to express a point? I liked the contradiction in this poem. It was quite well done. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |

This could be taken kind of deeply or at face value, and it's good either way. Post some more senryus allan. "Be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle" Plato. |

creating poetry with a lot of depth in this format is a dificult thing to do, but you do a beautiful job as usual with this. i'm looking forward to reading more of these allan, keep sharing them with us Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

My take is that the kitten saw how crappy the inside of the house was. Supposedly a house is a place of comfort but this one sucked.....so it was better to stay outside where the supposed trouble and harm could have been.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

it's cute Allan, but I don't recall you ever replying to any of my poems...of course I haven't looked at my poems in ages...but that's not the point. *stares evilly at Allan* anyway, so, like it, it's cute. keep writing....the shorter the better, cuz the less I have to read I'm just glad that now this rainstorm has ended, and I can see the rainbow once again. |
